Fun fact. Accutane is used to treat a certain type of Neuroblastoma and my 8 month old was on it. They STILL made me sign that she would get pregnant. An 8 MONTH old… 🤣

I went on Accutane in high school. In my initial appointment where I made the call with my dermatologist to start it, she sighed and went "I know you are a cisgender guy, but I have to go on this ramble." and then proceeded to lecture me for 5 straight minutes on why I shouldn't get pregnant on Accutane.

I don’t take accutane but I did have a hysterectomy and I can promise you it solves nothing about these conversations. I still get asked by drs and nurses all the time “any chance you could be pregnant” uh, no. Do you READ your patients charts??

I once took a pregnancy test at urgent care my heart was messed up so they sent me to the ER they made me retake the pregnancy test there like I could get pregnant in the hour it took to get back to an ER room

My migraine medication is an abortive medication. (Get rid of them after they start). When I called for a refill, she asked if there was a chance I was pregnant. Told her absolutely not, since it’s been two years since I’ve been with anyone. She just said “oh, good. Cause this medicine aborts more than just migraines” and hung up. Like??? 😂

Accutane does crazy things to blood. After I centrifuge a patients sample when I draw blood, the serum that should be clear and straw colored looks like milk due to increased triglyceride levels.
