all DEI does is makes sures that employers are hiring without discrimination. the people being hired are still qualified. DEI just makes sures that their application isn't thrown out once they see something like their race on it.

That is exactly what DEI is. At my job, in the first few weeks, all they kept saying (and the wording isn’t exact) is “at ****, we are looking to hire 50% more African Americans in the next year and our plan is 25% more in a management role” and I just thought based on what though??? I don’t care if the entire company is African Americans, as long as they’re QUALIFIED. I would hate to be hired just because of my skin color
