@wednesdaycruises: How big is a window cabin like on Marella Discovery on a Greek islands cruise? Well, have a look! This was a double room which was used for single occupancy. I booked alone so Marella had me down as a solo traveller. (I met my brother on the ship, but we were flying from different airports so it made sense to book separately.). We struck lucky with the balance in cost between an interior cabin and a balcony cabin on this mid-sized cruise ship by booking a window. It was perfect for us and I’d do this again. It also meant we were lower down in the ship which is great for stability and avoiding rocking that can trigger sea sickness! As well as the double bed and side tables with drawers, I had a desk with tonnes of drawers, and a sofa and a small bathroom and a very large floor to ceiling wardrobe that also had shelves in it. There was lots and lots of storage. What do you think; is this the cabin size you expected of a double cabin for single occupancy? #marella #marelladiscovery #marellacruise #greekislands #greekislandscruise #cruiseship #cruiseshipstorage #solotraveller #solotravel #singletraveler #sailaway #cruisetok
