This musical is a story of a shero: Dolly, who encountered a villain: Porter, and managed to succeed due to her upbringing, and thanks to the help of her husband and her best friend. Fame and faith are the hidden forces that manage the fortune of our shero, a little girl who wanted to be bigger than life and a woman full of talents who achieved that. Go see this musical. And I hope, with all my heart, that it’s still lasting 3 hours. Broadway should just accommodate, bc the many talents of Dolly freakin Parton will never ever fit any mold. Not even Broadway’s. And I hope they shoot it and release a longer version somewhere. We all want it.
