@balancedcanineacademy: I honestly can’t believe how many people out there WOULDN’T HIRE A TRAINER and would immediately kill their dog instead. If you agree with training first give me a follow! Let’s show these people how much we CAN help aggressive dogs! #dogs #dogsoftiktok #DogTraining #dogtrainer

Because it costs 3700 to get a trainer and 50 to euthanize and 20 to surrender. Some people can’t afford to

My 105 lbs Doberman has bitten me several times. He’ll see another dog and lose his mind then turn around on whoever is holding him back and bite them. It’s very difficult but we work with him and are always training him. He’s really come a long way in his three years ♥️♥️♥️

Training training training! We were giving a dog and he was calm at first then started showing reactivity towards other dogs and some people. We have trained and trained. You can’t give up so easily. It’s not fair

Always a trainer first, if a vet and behaviourist deem the dog a lost cause and to put down is the kindest of options but I would even keep a feral dog in an outdoor spacious pen/shelter situation if it meant they could do it happily.

Mine has bit me a few times, honestly my fault though for putting him in the situation he was in

Imagine those people getting Belgian Mals. Biting me was her first greeting.

I gave pro training a chance with my Doberman. She was loved. But, she resource guarded my wife to the point where she attacked me because I walked into the living room and my wife was on the coach. Like, tried to maul me. Put me in the ER and terrorized my family. She’s done. Our Anatolian Shepard is an angel. She’s also much nicer now that the Doberman is gone. You can’t save all dogs. Some have issues beyond training, just like humans. The Doberman got off easy. In the mow

my inlaws had to BE a white Mali mix with severe issues, but not until after the 3rd bite and yes, lots of training. but when u have no other option for the dog because it becomes dangerous to itself, that's the usually the best call. never a 1st resort unless a horrific incident!

As someone who specializes in aggression on the east coast and partners pretty exclusively with independent rescues I compleatly agree with you. All of my personal dogs were at one point at risk for euth and currently all live happy and fulfilled lives.

It really depends. Most dogs should have to try and be reached out for help but some dogs cannot be saved and that’s okay. BE shouldn’t be an easy decision to make which is why I believe lots of peoples need to do lots of research on it before making a big decision.

Our dog was reactive and bit us when we did something to trigger her. It took trial and error to figure out her triggers. We had her for over 10 years before we lost her last month

These are my favorite clients ! The ones who CALL just to ask questions before making their decision to euthanize ! Let’s create some boundaries 👏
