"Peña Dura" the inescapable prison Bane got out of in the comics. Technically it's not a prison cause you're free to leave whenever you like you just... can't

positive vs negative rights -- is it the governments job to make sure people get what they need or just not to interfere in them getting them?

yeah I was just arguing this with a "free market" so called anarchist, I don't usually let myself get into like debates anymore. I get to into them & they're never truly productive but the innate contradiction of, "I believe each individual should be free to live as they choose while still maintaining a system of capital wealth that limits those same freedoms" upset me so much I couldn't help it

Parenti «Anatole France said "The law, in its majestic equality, forbids rich and poor alike to sleep under bridges, to beg in the streets, and to steal their bread." and so the law becomes something of a farce, a fiction that allows us to speak of the rights of all, divorced from the class condition that often place the rich above the law and the poor way below it. In the absence of certain material condition, formal rights are of little value to millions who lack the means to make a reality of their right»

What I like about Marxist theory is that he definitely called this out. He writes about the fact that, while we're technically allowed to pay lobbyists to change laws in America, only the ownership class can actually afford to do so, and the odds are overwhelmingly low that anyone in the working class will get up there.
he refers to the "freedom" of capitalist countries as primarily the freedom to exploit the working class, the freedom to have political influence based in capital. this freedom would be abolished under communism, because ideally there would be no class distinctions. however, outside of the Paris commune, I don't know if any examples where Communism was truly attempted (I don't count the USSR because Stalin clearly did not care about getting past socialism).
correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not even done reading my third book on communism. I'm not going to pretend not to be an idiot.
