If this has happened more than once,you need to file an official complaint. Not only is it a safety issue, it is potentially a Hipaa issue since you're locked inside a facility with records.

That’s patient abandonment and possible medical malpractice also a breach of standard care. I’d call the police and report the doctor’s office. If you’ve suffered harm from loss wages from taking off work among other issues then you may be able to sue. I’d also report them to the department of health after calling the police to start a paper trail. Shoot I’d look into seeing if this is false imprisonment.
