It’s often used in meditation, sound healing, and relaxing music. But don’t go for the cheapest ones . They’re usually poorly tuned, mass-produced, and often not real handpans at all—just noisy metal bowls that sound off, LOSE TUNING QUICKLY, and lack the deep, rich tone that makes a real handpan special. If you’re getting one, get it right. It’s not just an instrument—it’s an experience. I got my handpan from Pures Music, and it cost me around $800–$900 AUD.
