I was super excited to try @rokcoffeeandtea but sadly for me it was just okay. I got the blackberry Matcha duo and while it was tasty I found the cream top to be a bit overpowering. It’s more reminiscent of the cheese foams found in Boba vs. tasting like a milky heavy cream foam. It was also VERY THICK so if you like your cream tops more light and airy I don’t think you will like this. The blueberry purée tasted fresh with no artificial sweetener but it was so chunky that I felt like I was chewing my matcha instead of casually sipping it. On a caffeine note it didn’t give me much energy. My normal matcha can keep my energy levels balanced throughout the day but Rok’s matcha left me groggy and sleepy. Definitely willing to try it again as I did like the flavor but I think that I would go with a plain matcha next time. #matcha #nycmatcha #matchatok #matchanyc #nyccafe
