@apidura: After placing 2nd Woman at the @atlasmountainrace and riding strong to take the women’s win and 9th overall at the @hellenicmountainrace, @meaghanhackinen now sets her sights on Kyrgyzstan. Kicking off on August 15, the Silk Road Mountain Race will see riders take on 1,954 km with 27,938 m of climbing, including 729 km of new route across the remote Tian Shan mountains - from Osh to Karakol on Issyk‑Kul Lake. Known for her measured pacing, mechanical know-how, and altitude-tested sleep strategy, Meaghan’s race approach is smart, deliberate, and experience-driven. Just two weeks out, she’s refined her setup with a full Apidura Backcountry kit, and is using this time to acclimatise, test new sleep systems, and get familiar with everything the mountains might throw her way. 📷 Simon Russel
