@monstrofarm: Today, I did the unthinkable. It was time for this tiny Jade Plant to get a cut back. I needed it to branch out a little more and I thought while I’m at it, why not propagate the leaves in water. Here’s how I did it. 🌱I always try to make sure the plant I’m propagating is a healthy plant. This plant was ok, could’ve been better. ✂️ I always disinfect my pruners and then remove my cuttings from the plant. ⏰ I didn’t for this prop and it may have affected my propagation. Next time I propagate Jade leaves I will let them callous over for 24 to 48 hours. 💦 Fill a bowl or jar with water 🪴 Place the leaves in the water 💡Place them under a grow light or on a windowsill 5 months later I had ROOTS and SHOOTS.
