there's a guy in my town. you give him a hundred bucks and your information he'll get the title for you. I've gone to him twice with old junk cars I've fixed up and sold

its a letter to the previous registered address and a post in the newspaper or town hall board and 90 days later you've got a new title pending no response. not a lot of paperwork at all. side not ive gotten the title from 3 owners back from just this process before. dmv is your friend not your enemy they will help you find all the info you need to get a title.

in most states it's only one single sheet of paper to fill out, buyer and registered owner sign it, send into DMV and the DMV sends back an updated title for $12.50. I've done it dozens up times and it's literally less than 5 minutes to fill out

in Oregon. if it's older than 05 and the bill of sale matches the original registration, they'll do the registration swap, no title needed.

In my state you don’t need title if it’s 35 years old or older. As long as it’s not stolen. do your due diligence. They will give you a new one it’s easy.

In my state. Alabama. I think it’s 34 years and older don’t require titles. Yeah don’t buy a new car with no title. But he should have said old cars are cool. Especially with the video he used

I bought a car without a title. went to an insurance company. paid 150 bucks for a bonded title and went on my way. almost no paperwork. moral of the story. don't live in California I guess. Just assuming that's where you live since you mentioned willow springs.
