The lighter RV's under 10 thousand pounds don't need a powered Jack. That's why it's an optional upgrade accessory on new units. My 2018 Forrest River Avenger a Powered Jack was an Optional upgrade

You shouldn't, you should get a bucket and attach a broom wall clamp to the inside to hang your trailer wiring plug on and clip the safety chains to the bucket handle
