cantonese is an older language than mandarin. Many Korean and Japanese words and pronunciation therefore more like cantonese than mandarin.

For the Cantonese girl’s, she is speaking Cantonese but its might not be Hong Kong Cantonese that we might be more use to. So some of her pronunciation or vocabulary could be different because of that.
