Welcome to 6BC Botanical Garden, a secret paradise in the East Village with dense greenery, winding paths, and cozy nooks perfect for slowing down and enjoying nature. Here’s what makes it extra special: a two story vine covered treehouse, a true hidden gem you can actually go up into! Inside, you’ll find a tiny library filled with books and a balcony with incredible views of this urban oasis. Today, there was even an artist painting up here. This is a community masterpiece, built by volunteers from an empty lot in the ’80s. It was incorporated in 1995, transferred to NYC Parks in 1999, but still runs entirely on volunteer love.
