Why does this training think that the prong collar is the only type of collar to use?? Just like humans not all dogs benefit from the samething. Some dogs will not benefit or do good with a prong collar? He needs to be more diverse and only using prong collar.

Most people don't have an in ground pool with steps.. We have above ground pool off deck with a ladder..

we trained our dogs to go to the steps,made sure each of them knows how to swim/can swim and we keep a raft in the pool all summer. our three best swimmers have the ability/ strength to pull themselves up onto that raft. all our dogs can go from raft to side of pool, side of pool to raft.

The best thing you can do is place an orange cone at the staircases. And teach the dogs to look for the cone. my dogs always swim to the cone

Good advice. If you do just spend a few minutes with them training they get the steps are the exit real quick.

6lb 2oz toy poodle shitzu mix we taught him where the stairs are. id add not leaving floaty in the pool that the wind will blow and block the exit.

I’ve had a dog almost drowned, luckily I found her before. I’ve been putting a my dogs in the middle of the pool. They know how to get out because of it.

I have a question. im a kid with a Belgian malinois in my family, im her main trainer my mom just taught sit, place, and down. she cant get a heel no mater how much I try. she also heys really excited around dogs never aggressive but shes vocal so she's always barking and people get scared there is no off switch for that when shes gone shes gone. what should I do I cant afford to pay somone to train her just me and occasionally my parents.

My dog would just relax on a raft 🤣seriously we did exactly that .. and we did put in 10 foot wide steps in the shallow end .
