If you were trained properly in proper methodical police investigations, mentored properly, then this should never be an issue. But MSP does everything 1/2 assed from investigations to paperwork and everything in between.

In my opinion, you and the Canton Confidential program are guilty of 1,000,000,000% confirmation bias in favor of the alcoholic drunk driver murderer and her family. You hosted and encouraged a show that focused on trivial matters, making them seem more important than the physical evidence against her. As the host, your confirmation bias was evident every day you hosted that program. You and Sue on purpose ignored the physical evidence against her, including the fact that John O’Keefe never went into the house and there is no proof at all presented in trial that he did. All the evidence was outside and in her car, but you dismissed it because of your confirmation bias for the murderer, whom you treated like a Hollywood movie star. You demeaned and made fun of the O’Keefe family. You are a disgrace to journalism and a phony. Thank you and have a nice night.

The bias/tunnel vision is causally related to biased way the state & police measure 'solved' murder cases. Its not charging and convicting someone. Its simply charging someone if autopy says suspicious death. Like Pavlov's dogs, that waroed measurement tool pressures fast charges, as that leadd to great looking stats, promotions and pay rises. Hugely rewards tunnel vision.
