I used to go see movies multiple times in theaters. Now it’s just cheaper for me to wait 3 months or so and watch it on streaming. Movie theaters cost too much now.

And since when has box office returns ever been the definitive proof of a film's quality? How many movies that are now considered beloved classics failed to make money while they were in theaters? And conversely, how many film's that broke box office records are actually hot garbage? I can think of a ton of examples of both

I think streamers have hammered the movie going experience. Why spend 20 dollars to see a movie I’ll see for the 10 dollars I spend every month anyway and I can rewatch instantly

Hmmm so the measuring stick is whether a superhero film can crack the 1 billion mark? I just checked it’s made over 370 million off a budget of 200 million+. And that’s a failure why? Grifters are gonna grift by why is this a failure if it doesn’t do as well as opening weekend or nowhere near

Fantastic 4 isn't the kind of movie people are willing to pay to watch multiple times in theaters when they know it'll just go on a streaming service they also pay for; Superman on the other hand is such a breath of fresh air it deserves multiple watches

I saw thunderbolts and F4 and Superman and I think they were all really good, not perfect like you said, but I haven’t seen something that I liked as much super hero wise as Thunderbolts F4 and Superman… but like Pedro is *chef’s kiss*
