Same goes for tyres when people cut corners and buy part work tyres or degraded. Remember people the only thing touching the ground from your car is your wheels so make sure you have good tyres too and drive safe

I don’t think you know what you are talking about. Wheels are made from an aluminium alloy. Means there a mix of aluminium with with other metals. Hence the word alloy. Also most wheels on the road are casted. What you are talking about is forged wheels. Which are not very common. 5% of OEM wheels are forged. Plus if done in the correct way with the right tools crack repair are safe. And will pass mot test. I know because I am a mot tester.
