Does infinity not mean forever? I don’t understand stand when the gentleman says there’s an infinite number between 1 and 2. Eventually there would be a stopping point, there only X amount of number in between til you get to 2

Its hard because they named the terms such arbitrary things. All calculus is is the math of 3D…..simplify the terminology and it becomes perceptually easier

The real difficulty actually comes from the fact that during secondary school you aren’t taught mathematical theory as much you are taught to calculate and find the answer - introducing theories and expecting theories to be applied properly without being formerly taught in this manner is where the problem lies.

Its hard because they teach it backwards. The limit definition of derivatives came COMPLETELY LAST in the chronological history of calculus. Everything thats done with calculus and everything its applied to came before the limit. The limit only exists so super ultra mega nerds 500 years ago wanted a proof for all these inventions that work with calculus

It's because teachers don't present the material correctly. Calculus isn't "math" as kids are taught initially. It's about FORMULAS and concepts. If teachers emphasized that distinction than it would change the way students veiw the subject.!💯

you don’t have to use approaching language it 1/inf is literally just 0, 1/0 is just + or - inf
