@phloxness: List of things you can do to improve your vtuber model's face tracking in Vtube Studio! This is ONE of several ways to improve your tracking, and one of the most important. 1. Fine tuning (what I go over in this video): Go to your parameters menu and fine tune values. Basically, express the minimum expression and maximum expression on your face, and make sure that those values translate to the same value for the output. If it doesn't, your model isn't using it's full range of motion! 2. You can ALSO do some basic eyeblink/mouth sensitivity settings in your camera menu. The sliders allow you to fine tune some settings (just make sure to do it on PC for webcam tracking, and on mobile for phone tracking). 3. Calibrate your model! Always re-calibrate when opening your apps. 4. Be well-lit for webcam and basic phone tracking! Your sensor will have a hard time detecting you in the dark. You can also adjust your webcam's light sensitivity/aperature or framerate if you have something like an elgato facecam. The smoother and brighter the better! 5. PUPPETING. You can and should be extra expressive when using your model--it will help it look better. However, doing the adjustments in 1 should help limit the exaggeration you need for the desired effect. 6. Audio sync. You can toggle on your microphone and use your combination vocal sync with your mouth open parameter. It will help open your mouth more for low movement/when you are speaking but not moving your mouth a lot! I personally cannot use this feature since I am using my single mic input for Bugbot, unfortunately. But I absolutely would if i could!
