I did this a few years into my injury. I haven’t taken gabapentin in 15 years. No difference. It’s possible.

Go way slower than you think you need to. Way slower. I took several months to get off and I was fine without it.

I was on gabapentin for a whole year 1000 mg 3x’s a day and honestly I stopped taking it straight cold turkey and it made no difference I’m a triple amputee who had a traumatic amputation which means my phantom limb syndrome is super severe

I stopped taking Gaba a few months ago. Once I stopped I figured out it was doing NOTHING! Although I can now dream so that's a plus 😂

I'm a t9 incomplete.. gabapentin and pregablin made me feel like a zombie 😫 but for spasticity I take baclofen and tizanadine and for nerve pain I take nortriptyline
