I was all set to ditch the Navy in 2023, no plans to sail again after my shore duty. Then someone whispered TAR in my ear and I was hooked after some quick research. I reenlisted with an SRB as a TAR PS. I'm not surprised more sailors aren't in the know. The Navy's really playing hide and seek with this info lol.

Army calls it AGR (Active Guard Reserve). And not all TAR sailors are at Reserve Centers. Some are detailers. Some are MEPS Counselors etc
