As a Methodist minister, I’d also want to add that we Methodists emphasize grace and that God is working on all of us toward Christian Perfection, which is simply when we have reached a state of being so Christlike that we do not knowingly sin anymore. I’d definitely stress our connectional polity, ordo salutis, and our emphases on different kinds of grace (and means of grace).

I have spent time in both. was a chairman of trustees for the methodist church. the methodist church is NOT about HOLY LIVING. the baptists do have a bit of "aers" about them. in the methodist church, I've seen a millionaire mow grass. in the Baptist church an old school tech illiterate teacher is responsible for the computers. the formality is available in both. the communion is available in both. it's a group of humans, humans are broken.
