honestly java IS better. even without mods it has way better control over performance, smoother redstone, actual combat mechanics, and stuff like f3 debug and spectator mode that bedrock just doesn’t have vanilla wise. if you have a decent pc java can run better too reason why bedrock seems to run smoother is because it's made that way so mobile and console can run it otherwise if it was like a java port it would run so poorly Now let’s talk mods for a sec people act like mods are cheating or somethin but bedrock literally has addons too on their marketplace... which are basically just jankier versions of java mods. and a lot of them are straight up stolen from real modders or any kind of media like roblox copying steam games. and you gotta pay for that stuff too. on java you pay once and that’s it mods texture packs shaders mods all free all from the community. let’s also be real for sec also vanilla minecraft DOES get boring after a while wether it be on java or bedrock. like you’ve already done everything built a hundred bases fought the dragon whatever. But mods make the game feel new again and if bedrock had proper mod support, no doubt people would use it the same way. you can already see bedrock players using add-ons that mimic rlcraft, that actions animation pack forgot the name, vibrant shaders or whatever that came out recently, etc. like clearly y’all want that same experience.. so stop criticizing mods mods aren’t a bad thing they’re what keep the game fresh and gives it replayability and java gives you the freedom to actually enjoy that without paywalls or restrictions.
