I drove mine, Built a 15' tripod and hung a pulley. Had an old Ford truck, went to tge junkyard and bought 2 old rims and welded the together. Positioned my truck, took off one of my back tires and put on the double Rim so that the tire would stick out past the side of the truck. had a big head made onto the end of a pipe that would slide over my well head with an I ring on top to attach the Rope. and then just use the truck idling to tug the big banner up and down to drive the well. work great went down 230 ft

we used to build Piers with a design like this with pulleys and a tower if you would add some weights to that kabong on top of the rope you won't have to lean over and slam it down you can just pull on the rope and let the weight do the work
