humans are evolving backwards. Scientists have created a model of how humans will look like in 1000 years, of how they’d evolve and what they’d become. And the model (called Mandy) shows a human that looks very different from what we look like now. Humans of the future will have a hump as the design and habits of users of modern technological objects have a significant impact on the way we sit and stand. It has been shown that constantly adjusting our position to look down at our phone or up at our office screen strains parts of our body that determine our posture. We’ll also have claw looking hands due to constant texting, in other words curling your fingers around it in an unnatural position for long periods of time. We’ll also have a 90 degree elbow in consequences of frequent phone use. Most importantly, the skull will get bigger but the brain will get smaller. Our brains are shrinking. We’re using smaller words - shortening our vocabulary, watching short videos that shorten our attention span which plays a huge role in the shrinking of our brains. For its part, the neck will also go through some obvious changes. Lastly, our necks will get thicker and wider. We’ll look like a complete disaster. And on top of all this, Antarctica is melting and growing flowers which will cause global warming to worsen and all the frozen viruses that are in the continent to release. Scientists have also found out recently that bees contain micro plastics which makes them almost useless when it comes to helping the earth. Researchers say that using chatGPT is really harmful to the environment. Let me break it down - only 1% of all the water in the world is drinkable and AI uses that exact same water to function. One question results in 0.5L waste of water. Due to so much water waste, it’s become possible that we’ll run out of water by 2100. Or even worse - be in a deficit by 2050. Having access to chatGPT is making humans lazier. We don’t study as hard, we don’t write essays - instead, AI writes it for us. We’ve also become lazier in terms of physical activity. We’re always in our offices sitting (which is actually harmful for the human body) and do nothing all day but lay on-

One thing i noticed too was this generation wants faster and instant results on everything that most of us end up being burned out cz we expect instant results instead of taking time to master something. Second was, the grind and hustle culture that if u don't grind or hustle enough you'll not get what you want. Also why is h00kup culture on the rise? most people don't even value deep genuine connection anymore. We are entering the era of cognitive decay.🤦🏼

It’s called growing up, every human after high school especially will feel like this including myself and it’s safe to say that I assume it’s all because of the way we were in school and how we were in a routine everyday without realising it. Most of us people between 17-20 will understand. Once we all leave school and sit around at home waiting for life to create its new experience for you, your brain actually rewires itself to the condition you live in. And unfortunately for most of us we all left school/graduated from school without finding a job or having a career to pursue. Because we were in school everyday living an everyday routine, our brains being tested at every second of the day and our mind and body mentally and physically working all the time, once we leave school that all goes away and that’s why most of us later teens feel so empty and lost and it’s due to the fact that we aren’t in school anymore and it really is up to us to figure out our own life.

guys can we all stop using chatgpt and ai, and dont say its ‘hard’ bc so many successful people didnt even use google, they used books! please, i am not letting my child, or any other child, or experiencing my/our last years on earth either everything being techy and with ai and robots. just please. i sm begging you all. can we just go back to books? and save our kids and the rest of the generation’s future?

I hate it, we used to be so poetic and patient with our words, we used to wait and give eachother time to get our messages across. Nowadays, we interpret eachother, shorten our words, we don’t avoid using curses and most people don’t have the intrest in a widened vocabulary. Take me back to the old days 😪😪
