@gooddaywithray: You don’t have to cut dairy just because someone said so. But if you’ve got Hashimoto’s, here’s what the research says about A1 casein, BCM-7, glutathione depletion, and oxidative stress. Some people feel better going dairy-free, others do fine with A2 milk or plant based milk. This video isn’t to encourage more rules— it’s about information and letting you decide if it’s something worth trying. #hashimotosdisease #hashimotos #autoimmunedisease #chronicillness #thyroidhealth #hashimotossymptoms

Are all dairy products equally harmful to the thyroid? What about fermented dairy products such as kefir, yogurt, and cottage cheese?

So since A2 doesn’t have the same peptides as A1 milk, if I switched to A2 it wouldn’t cause the same inflammatory processes of A1? So theoretically you could have dairy but just A2?

Cows milk doesn’t work for me whatsoever. Even before I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s. Been drinking goats milk for 3 years and it has been so much better for me. I’ve cut back since being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s and will substitute with plant based for some things.

Girl, I have been gluten-free for 10 years and I have never been able to give up dairy. But you explaining this makes so much sense as I suffer from joint pain, brain fog, ADHD eczema and a multitude of other things and I never thought it was the dairy.

I use plant based milks, lactose free milks like fair life, Greek yogurt and lactose free cheeses like Cabot cheeses. Gluten helped tremendously, I dont know why doctors don’t immediatly tell you this when you are diagnosed. Dairy, I naturally just cannot handle it so, what I have decided to keep eating is mainly because I feel fine when I have these things and because there are still so many other benefits from some of the nutrients in cheese and milk. ❤️❤️❤️

Interesting. I thought it was lactose that was the issue… So that means goat milk may be tolerable.

Ok but I live in Bulgaria and our main ingredient in our food is milk. Like we eat yogurt and feta cheese every single day it is so hard to avoid it

Damn. My doctor has literally told me to cut dairy so many times but the way you just explained it made me want to try. I eat yogurt for breakfast EVERY day (ocd) and I have every single symptom you mentioned. Fine, I’ll tryyyy!!!
