You are right, we are not African Americans we are the Hebrews that are talked about in Deuteronomy chapter 28 and throughout the Holy scriptures aka Old Testament. Our ancestors were sold throughout the world by Europeans and some of the African nations.

Typically Africans and Europeans call themselves Africans & euruoeans , while Black and white Americans in USA and some South Americans call themselves Black or White. Not sure why everyone else has to discuss it.
