Typically if the carb needs adjusted it's because it has debris in it. It doesn't randomly change its flow characteristics. Although you explained the adjustment procedure well you should've pulled the carb and cleaned it to make sure of a complete repair.

i have a stihl blower that turns on but won’t stay running by itself and if i leave it to run for a bit and i press it after it turns off how do i find it i think it’s something to do with the low and high needles can anyone help

I have repaired thousands of these and adjusting the screws do not that solve that problem. Tool kit promotion. 🫣

refurbished... use 93 octane only. any other fuel will clog the carburetor. I've had plenty of them.
