It isn’t about what sins you commit on Earth. God is very clear that all sin is forgivable except not accepting Christ. Hell is simply a result of denying Christ not so much a punishment. God is sinless therefore if we do not accept Christ we are full of sin and we cannot be in the presence of God. This is why he sent his Son to die for our sins so we can have a bridge to God and spend eternity with him. God doesn’t want us to go to hell which is why he is very clear that everyone will have the opportunity to hear the Gospel before their time. A similar scenario is a father has a Son who is a drug addict that father wants nothing more than his son to be clean but he can’t force him to do that. The father offers a solution to his son but his son chooses his own path. The father may never see his son again and has to watch his son live a horrible painful life. The same way Christ gives us a solution to our sin it is up to us to decide what we want.

What got to me was the idea that ppl who self unalive go to hell. I knew KIDS who were suffering & wanted it to stop & I was supposed to believe god gave them more suffering over an ego trip??? I stopped believing in hell young bc of that.

People need to stop trying to understand God through a human lens. God didn’t create evil, he created everything. Lucifer, out of his own free will decided to rebel against God, and when he corrupted humanity the bond between Man and God was severed completely. Enter Jesus Christ, who had to die and come back to life so that death would not be the fate of those who chose to believe in him. “No man enters the kingdom of God except through me”. It’s that simple.

Brother with all due respect and love, I think this video shows a lot of spiritual pride. Countless theologians throughout history have grappled with the concept of hell and affirmed its legitimacy based on Scripture. To say that “no compassionate or sane person” can affirm hell in good conscience is both morally pretentious and presumptuous. Especially because Jesus speaks rather explicitly about hell in multiple places (Matt 25:46 for example).

the idea of an eternal hell was driving me to hate God for the longest time bc it’s so obviously out of character for God. I began to hate the idea of a heaven where i’m at peace while my loved ones burn forever and ever, and i would have rather rejected heaven then to live with that guilt for all eternity
