People try to gaslight you into making the wrong cocktail. Some bartenders will give it for free because "they made a mistake and have to comp it anyway". I only do that if I know I messed up. Otherwise always take it to replace it. We had people who would try to order from both bartenders working thinking they'd get to keep the extra for free. We always take one and they look like you kicked their puppy.
