I quit my job as a therapist because a patient thought we were in love. When the boundaries didn’t work I referred him to a higher level of care and he tried to kidnap me at knifepoint. 3 years out of the field and I still look over my shoulder.

Yall are missing the biggest gap. He was 38 but had over 12 years of experience as a licensed professional. It takes 12 years of schooling to become a licensed psychiatrist. That would mean he magically completed 8 years of school and a four year residency by 26.

In part 11 she literally explains that it’s obviously her therapist that’s the issue, like her casually sharing details and asking for advice on other clients is obviously wrong but bc it validates her Kendra defends it (even when her psychiatrist reacts poorly to her telling him). Like the therapist is even encouraging her feelings and not responding when she brings up the tension between her and her psychiatrist, I just don’t get how ppl aren’t seeing the therapist as the actual issue.
