@safetyinside.cn: There are two common construction methods for pouring the lower support pier (column) of the seismic isolator: the concrete pouring method and the grouting material filling method, which are specifically described as follows: 1.Concrete Pouring Method (introduced in this animation) · When pouring concrete for the lower support pier, the concrete should overflow 5mm~10mm from the pouring hole and exhaust hole of the positioning plate; after the pouring is completed, the positioning plate should be taken out after the concrete has initially set but before it has finally set. Before removing the plate, the excess concrete that is higher than the designed elevation of the top of the lower support pier (column) should be shoveled off, and before the concrete finally sets, the surface of the concrete at the top of the lower support pier (column) should be troweled with the original slurry to ensure that the finished surface is dense, flat and smooth. · When using high-fluidity concrete for pouring, it is necessary to ensure that there are no concentrated voids under the positioning plate, and the filling rate (the ratio of the total area of voids to the area of the positioning plate) should be ≥90%; a filling confirmation test should be carried out before pouring. In addition, the pouring height of high-fluidity concrete should not exceed 500mm; otherwise, it is recommended to use the grouting material filling method instead. 2.Grouting Material Filling Method (to be introduced next time) To achieve close contact between the bottom surface of the positioning plate and the top surface of the concrete of the lower support pier (column) for uniform force transmission, a gap of 30mm~50mm should be reserved between the positioning plate and the top surface of the concrete of the lower support pier (column), and grouting material should be used for filling, which should meet the following requirements: · For the grouting material, high-strength micro-expansive grouting material with good fluidity is preferred, and its strength grade should be one grade higher than the original designed strength grade of the lower support pier (column). · Before formal grouting, a filling confirmation test should be conducted, and the grouting process should be determined based on the test results, and a grouting construction plan should be formulated. · The positioning plate does not need to be removed when using the grouting material filling method. #seismicdesign #earthquake #isolator #seismicisolation #FPS #rubberearings
