@davidholmes_83: Of all the technical stunts my dept was involved in, one of my favourites was getting to spend four months practising and filming Harry’s underwater adventure in his second TriWizard challenge. Warner Bros invested in building Europe’s largest underwater film facility and I literally spent weeks on end, up to 8 hours a day, in the dive tank. Growing up, I was always a true water baby, I loved it and even some lunchtimes I snuck into the stage and jumped out of the roof into the water for shits and giggles. We also did a lot of scuba diving training with Dan and with the hours spent underwater, me Dan and Tolga worked exceptionally hard. By the end of the filming I was capable of doing three minute shots while swimming and holding my breath. Dan wasn’t far behind me. This sequence would actually be the last time Tolga would be performing stunts for Harry in the Potter franchise, as he started to outgrow Dan quite considerably. You can see his final Harry stunt as he is pulled from the water and lands heavily on the platform at the end of the challenge.
