I work for a school district who has a total of 16 secretaries throughout the whole district 2 per building. Our registration specialist decided that she wanted to take over returning & new student registrations for the whole district this new school year. Registration opened up in April we did not see any new students in our system until mid June! 2 weeks before school starts she resigns & she still had over 400 students in the Queue😬 now what would take up about 4 months to complete we have to do it all in a 2 week time frame! 😫😫

I am an admin assistant at a HS and there is absolutely no tired like when teachers come back! We got SO much done over the summer with so few interruptions 😅

Middle school secretary here. I do all registration, records, attendance, report cards, answer phone calls etc. What gets me is the ones that wait until right before school starts to inquire about registration after we sent codes home in April and they had all summer!!
