I think some women eventually realize that marriage and motherhood aren’t always what they imagined. Society has long pushed the narrative that women should get married and have children, but raising a family is hard—it’s emotionally draining. You spend so much time taking care of everyone else that you sometimes forget to care for yourself. And if you don’t take care of yourself first, you won’t have the energy or strength to take care of anyone else.
