Replace Gunn with Russos. Zack has 300, Watchmen, Man of Steel, BVS & ZSJL. Only comic book directors that come close are the Russos

Nolan didnt make a comic book movie. He made a movie adapting a character. Those werent comic book movies, they were adaptations in a ground real world. The dark knight is a phenomenal movie but its a bad comic book movie and a bad batman movie

I think an OG needs to be on that. Like a Richard Donner or Tim Burton. Obviously because the original Superman movie created the comic book movie genre. And the original Batman movie reinvented the character for general audiences. Without Superman the movie, and Batman, comic book movies would not be what they are.
