once a friend of mine took a high vis in their carry on so when we got to the belt he put it on and started shouting "Please stand back 2 metres from the belt!" and everyone listened so he could grab his bag 😂😂

This is the reason I wait to be one of the last off the plane, last through passport control, last to get my bag, last on the transfer coach! Someone has to be last, so why not just have a stress free easy experience!

I do the exact same thing 😂 stand back and then part the sea like Moses and take everyone out with my bag and I love it !!! Because that’s what you get for standing so close when your bag is NOT THERE !!

Last week I had a man stand in front of me and then completely ignored me when I said something to him so when my case came round, it may have smacked him in the legs when I got it off the carousel 😅

THIS!!!!! And then the people who as soon as you go and get your case, stand so close you can barely get your case off the belt! And don’t start me on the people that stand right where the cases hit the belt - like you stand the other side you can see what’s coming round!

What if your a parent with 2 year old toddler and have multiple bags to get of belt. You can’t leave the “rugrat” child on a seat at the 3 meters (unattended) back from the belt and also grab all bags. It’s quite difficult and challenging. You also overlooking the fact that some families have 5-6 suitcases to come of the belt. It’s challenging for one person to take all off by themselves without being dragged along the belt and bumping into other people. Your “belt protocol” is suitable for those people who have “serious” first world problems. And I also don’t see the need to state the brand of your bag. Would it have any less impact if it was a non branded suitcase. I don’t think so. It’s a shame you could not articulate your view in a more mature, considerate and evaluated manner. None the less the world needs people like you so that people have a reference of what good and what bad looks like. I hope many see this and learn this is not how you promote change in society. Wish you all the best!
