So glad I seen ur video. Based on the Air France policy and the baggage shown on your booking, the 12 kg is the total combined weight of both bags, not 12 kg each. Your allowance is: * 1 small bag up to 40 × 30 × 15 cm (goes under the seat) * 1 cabin bag up to 55 × 35 × 25 cm (goes in the overhead locker) * Maximum combined weight of both bags together: 12 kg So, for example: * Cabin bag = 8 kg * Small bag = 4 kg * Total = 12 kg ✅ But: * Cabin bag = 12 kg * Small bag = 3 kg * Total = 15 kg ❌

I just got back from flying @Air France to paris and back to nyc and had no issues. First time flying with them. Noone asked us to weight any carry on or even personal items. sorry that happened to you!

This rule has made me so anxious, just because if you check in your luggage and have to go back to check in the carryon, the lines, etc. I don’t see how 12kg is possible with laptops and electronics only being permitted on carry on/ hand baggage

That’s why I have someone with a bag of my stuff waiting in the corner and then once it’s weighed and I get my boarding pass and the carry on sticker, I’ll go put my stuff back in the carry on and move on to security 😂

They did this to me coming back from Charles de gaulle last week… I had no idea!!!! Luckily my carry ons weighed 11.6kg together….. I got SO lucky 😭

Air France is the worst they took my hairwax that was way under 3.4 ounces, I explained to them that I worked TSA for 5 years so I know. Also they lost my bag for a day from London to Paris 🤬🤬🤬
