You put braces on someone who already had bad oral hygiene? 😳 My daughter’s orthodontist refused until she practiced good brushing habits. He reevaluated every 3 months until her oral hygiene improved. You don’t put braces on people with bad oral hygiene it only makes things worse. But some people are only in it for the money obviously. Very unfortunate.

Confidence isn't something that just happens; it's carefully built by what we pay attention to and what we talk about. Here are seven small but meaningful changes you can try: 1. Praise the work, not the pretty. While many might comment on her appearance, fewer ask about her achievements or ideas. She notices this more than we think. Be the one to engage her mind. 2. Let her be wrong. Girls often learn that agreeing leads to approval, which makes them hesitant to guess aloud until they're absolutely sure. Encouraging phrases like
Confidence isn't something that just happens; it's carefully built by what we pay attention to and what we talk about. Encouraging phrases like "Good guess, keep going" can make a real difference. 3. Don't rescue her too quickly. We often jump in faster for daughters facing challenges, whether it's opening a jar, homework, or friendship issues. Every rescue, even subtle, can imply she’s not capable. Real confidence grows when you support her as she works things out for herself. 4. Let her take up space. Words like "loud," "bossy," "too much," and "dramatic" are often used for girls by age seven, leading them to become quieter, which is then seen as maturity. A girl who learns to assert herself with you now will be better prepared to stand up for herself in the world later. 5. Actually answer the question. The twelfth "why" can be tiring, but saying "because it just is" teaches her that curiosity has limits. Curiosity thrives when we take it seriously. 6. Give her boredom back. An empty afternoon might feel like neglect, but it's incredibly valuable. Without plans or screens, she's encouraged to invent and create, which is a crucial skill. 7. Let her see you not know things. She observes how women handle situations outside their expertise. Hiding every mistake suggests women should know everything. Phrases like "I got that wrong" and "no idea, let's find out" are far more powerful than they seem. These adjustments might seem small, but their impact can be significant. Which one will you try first? #parenting #raisingdaughters #girlpower #confidentkids #momsanddaughters
