@common_cents_deals: This is such a better water to make waterproof electrical connections. In with the new, out with the old! Link below. #electrical #electrician #diyelectrical #electricalcontractor
I can't believe people think this is a good product. It's hard enough to get a good solder joint using flux and a proper soldering iron. there's no way that solder is bonding

naw these things suck, the heat required to melt the solder ruins the heat shrink and they pull apart super easily. for 12v ill take a proper crimp any day

I bought these off Amazon, I still put regular shrink wrap over them, used them on a ton of projects and none of those have failed yet

No way that heat gun is getting solder hot enough to bond properly. Only thing holding wires together is heat shrink🤟

the solder on thes doesn't penetrate all the way through the wire. if you're going to solder use flux solder and a solder iron heat shrink it don't trust your electrical connections to junk take the time and do it right the first time

I ordered a set of those, and honestly the clear rubber coating melted before the lead ring even came close. not only that but like another commentator said, they pull apart extremely easy.

I don’t know anybody who uses a crimp connector and melts the amp. That’s what we have a drink and solder for if you’re gonna use crimp connector use it properly.

These are not water proof had to rewire my rzr becasue it held amazing for about a year then rotted the wire away and make everything bug out and took hours to find what wires did what and where they failed
