I am sorry I disagree. I believe in the love element, but not necessarily where you are saying it starts and then whom you then know best becomes the next focus of love. Some people, really don't love themselves. Some people, for very understandable reasons, don't love their family. I think one can only love what one knows, and how can we be sure we know everything about another, even a family member? For me love isn't necessarily about what I know, although personal knowledge does make me feel closer, it's more about the vibe, the resonance of the person...how they get along with you on a bad day, seeing how you might be struggling and doing small things to alleviate that- or just showing understanding!

I created 2 rules: - Be kind to yourself not like the rainbow kind but the kindness that you would give to a child, be a kind parent to your own self. second love is... complicated but a rule that's makes me grounded is, what do you do when you see a beautiful flower? must of us ,me included, just picked it up well congrats you just kill it, it can never grow any longer, your love shouldn't just appreciate and protect the flower?I try being a observer and let it grow until it dies, death IS a part of the process after all, we can't add more days in our life but we can add more life in our days

Most ppl I really care about must share the respect/interest for something I value. Friends, meaningful life, sorrow past, knowledge... anything, but we must have something in the same. Other I find it hard to mind them 😔 I still respect them as human to human, but sorry that is the most I can give. So, even if I know them well, I can respect them, but that's far from love in any form 😕 But I see your point about not spreading hatred. And as long as people RESPECT each other, even the one you don't like, they would not act such arrogant.

don't be sound so depressing but. what you're saying about you love yourself most is true to some level, there's people who genuinely hate themselves most(in a sense they love themselves first). they wish they never were being born (don't be confused with ss). If my mother said like the mother of a famous philosopher said(If I knew that you hate yourself so much, I would have aborted you), I'll be genuinely happy. But then again, "don't even try to k yourself, because you k yourself too late" is what keeps me going
