@kittsullivan: After going back and looking at old photos, it was insane to see the change that’s happened in the last two weeks. I finally braved watching some of the videos. Jesus — I’m sure you can imagine how hard it was to watch these back and see just how low I had fallen. Looking back, I can’t believe it took me so long to ask for help. I was so low — physically and mentally. The damage these steroids can cause is honestly wild. Organ failure of your largest organ, leading to a complete mind and body shutdown. It’s taken pretty much this whole trip for my body to calm down, slow down, and finally start enjoying life again. Watching these videos back fills me with absolute dread at the thought of ever falling into that state again. All I can do now is look after my body, keep listening to what it needs, and be grateful for every single day that I’m not in that place. I feel like I’ll never take life for granted again. Thank you so much for all the messages and comments — it’s been really validating to know I’ve made some progress.
