I had 4 under 4 and they all napped at the same time. My oldest didn’t stop napping until kindergarten

Okay I feel like more context is needed: my 3yo has quiet time in her room, but it’s later in the day. My son goes down for a nap RIGHT before her lunch time. He would not fall asleep if she were also in his room. I don’t really want to do screen time.

Our solution is screen time. Absolutely no shame either. I need a quiet time too. So I put baby down while toddler watches and then we watch together. It’s fine if that’s not what you want though.

Allowing things that aren't any other time: Toys kept up high, 1/2 a kid show, unusual snack etc.

Everyone takes naps until they are 5-6. Put the big one down first. If they can’t do that, then they have “quiet time” where they stay in their bed & look at books, color, etc.

I buckle him in the high chair and give him snacks and once baby is down I hang with him in the playroom/other bedroom

3yo was given books and told to also have “quiet time” in their baby-safe room. I had a monitor I could watch from while I got baby down

That's when technology is amazing and I would of gave my older one some quiet screen time for like 30. 🤷🏼♀️

Mine are 13 months apart. I was always alone cause my husband deployed back to back the first 2 years of my second baby life. I just put on a tv show😅

Quiet time. Everyone goes into their room. They can play quietly. My older one would typically fall asleep too.

We did quiet time. They didn’t have to nap but they did have to rest and be quiet either look at books or I’d put a show on they can just rest and watch. Most the time if I did the movie option they would fall asleep so it was a win win for me

A rotation of toys that they don't get every day so it holds their attention or interactive books, TV, some babies learn to fall asleep with older sibling chaos. My 3rd did but not the 4th lol

Quiet time! Make the toddler come in the same room with you. Doesn’t have to sleep but it is time to sit and be quiet, look at books, stretch body etc. Screens if you allow that. But nap time is quiet time for everyone. That’s the rule!
