"Blue Lock" is a Japanese manga written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. It first began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2018. The story also received an anime adaptation that quickly gained popularity among viewers worldwide. The plot takes place in Japan after the national team’s defeat at the 2018 World Cup.
