@elyssemelissa: I know some of y'all need to hear this because I know I did. Part of my early shadow work days was forcing myself to look at the truth of how selfish and inconsiderate I had become in my own victimization. I expected my friends to do what no one else would do for me and it created a nasty dynamic that took a LOT to change. I lost friends and also kept the real ones whom I worked hard to evolve for.
