It’s bánh đa lợn. Made from tapioca flour and mung beans. Nothing like banh bo nuong. Pandan is not from coconut leaves. Pandan is pandanus amaryllifolius, is a tropical plant prized for its fragrant leaves.

Hi. I’m sorry to say but pandan isn’t derived from a coconut leaf. It’s its own plant. It’s just widely paired with coconut in Filipino desserts. Hope this helps! ☺️

it bothers me so much that they call this mochi 😂😂 i know ur just say the name that the restaurant gave it but ??? mochi is made from rice what were they thinking. they couldn't say mochi-like? 😂 I WILL be trying tho thanks for the rec ❤

Btw ! I tried these and they are SO GOOD! The Ube one is a lot stronger in flavor but I love love the texture and flavor. And it’s beautiful. The service was good too

tried these today. For anyone expecting super sweet dessert: it’s more asian style “not too sweet”. If you’re ready for that, very delicious (I love sweetened glutinous rice), and has a hint of coconut.
