Mine thought that by coming clean about emotional cheating and apologising just took it away and made it better. He couldn’t understand why it affected me still months later. Why I couldn’t just trust again. Why it played in my mind. And he refused to give reassurance because he felt like he shouldn’t have to reassure me I should just be happy with what he said.

I literally gave a blueprint to my heart to her, and she said that to much work. I reply you just have to do 1 or 2 things on the list. still said to much work. Before that she gave me a blueprint of her to love her. it was difficult but half the size of my list. I was willing to do everything on her list. When they cheat they lose all respect for you.

Their excuses are that they already felt disconnected from the relationship but they never let us know so we can just go. I didn’t find out she cheated til afterwards. And she tried to twist it on me by saying I was spreading rumors about her cheating on me when at the time I didn’t know.

You’re 100% right about this I caught my avoidant cheating on me, confronted her on text and she tried to deny it and she just ghosted me for like 8-9 hours then I went to the apartment we lived together to see if she was OK or she was there. Then she called the police on me and told the cop she doesn’t want me to contact her anymore or come there ever again that was six months ago, and I have never talked to her ever since, and she hasn’t even reached out or apologized, avoidance, or some of the worst people in the world that is so much for this person and they can treat you like this. I honestly hope the worst for her. She’s lucky. I’m a person of God because if not, she would have some bad things coming

When my avoidant ex got caught, he literally looked so confused and had this “oh well guess it’s over” mentality! 10 year relationship over and he didn’t even try or apologize or nothing, just looked at me with no emotions and walked away. 1 year out of separation and he is living his life like he didn’t in fact blow up my life (and my sons life)!
