What Else Did You Expect :
This looks like a soft leather saddle but do you have any advice for cleaning rough out saddles. You cant oil them unless under the fenders but I would like to clean my saddle, However every tutorial I see is soft leather saddles and how you need to oil afterwards etc. but no rough out saddles.

A bit of unsolicited advice: if youre doing a deep enough clean that youre using the hose and dish soap, go ahead and take the fenders off to clean and condition them as well. 1) its a good opportunity to look over the stirrup leathers (narrow part of the fender), they get a lot of wear that goes unnoticed and 2) the leathers tend to get neglected when the saddle is being oiled and conditioned, especially where the leather wraps around the bar. If you're worried about not getting them back on, you can tie a string to the last hole before you pull them out, pull them out, and leave the string around the bar. then when you put them back in, tie the string back in and use that to pull them through. Or, what i prefer to do if I'm struggling to get them back on is take the saddle screws out that are just below the swells, that'll give you just a little more room to work to put them back on, then put the screws back in.
